This notice explains how Tayf Technology ("Tayf", "we") handles personal data, in line with the Omani Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) and its Executive Regulations.

1. Who we are

Tayf Technology SPC is an Omani software company registered in Muscat (CR 1657315). For this website and our marketing, Tayf acts as the data controller. Data-protection contact: alwaleed@tayf.dev.

2. What we collect, and why

• Contact form: name, email, company and your message — used only to respond to your enquiry. Form delivery is processed by Web3Forms, which routes your submission to our mailbox.
• Basic site analytics/logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical logs (IP, user agent) to serve and secure the site. We do not run advertising trackers.

3. Client project data

When we build or operate a product for a client (for example, Tayf Daily), we act as a processor on the client's behalf under a signed data-processing agreement (DPA). Client data is hosted in Oman; where AI models are used to summarise reports, data is aggregated and anonymised before any external processing.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate this site (hosting, form delivery) and where the law requires.

5. Retention

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business records, then deleted.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPL you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing alwaleed@tayf.dev. We respond within the statutory period. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we notify the regulator and affected individuals per the law.
